Hummingbird Visit

I get so busy working that I forget to take the time to stop and “smell the roses”. I had the neatest experience last night. I was sitting in my backyard and a hummingbird came right up to my face. It was about 2 feet from me and flitted around for about 10 seconds. Then it went over to the feeder and then came back to visit me again. It stayed for another 10 seconds. I put out my hand but it didn’t land on it. Maybe another time. I think it wanted to thank me for its dinner. What a nice way to end my day! Take a break…you deserve it!
