Looking for a job?

Here are some things to consider. So often we associate our identity with the job we have. When we lose a job or are looking for a new job, it can be very stressful. The article below refers to Canada, but the message can be helpful no matter where you live.

As a Career Coach, I have used all these strategies. Especially during this pandemic and times of uncertainty, taking the time to study, learn, grow and research can help you have a sense of control. It can prepare you for when the right opportunity arises. By networking here on LinkedIn, you are taking the right steps. Be willing to take a job you wouldn’t typically take as they can still offer transferrable job skill development and you will expand your horizons. You will meet new people who can help you find the right job and it will show future employers that you are willing to work. Good luck and happy hunting?
